Cancellation and payment terms
Payment methods
Cash or most generally accepted credit cards
To pay by invoice the customer must have a valid invoicing agreement with Healthlake Oy/ Hotel Herttua. An invoicing fee of 10 euros is charged for each invoice.
Cancellation terms
1.Individual hotel room bookings
- Cancellations without penalty by 6pm on the previous evening.
- Bookings that are not cancelled shall be charged in full.
2. Individual holiday bookings (pampering holidays, etc.)
- Cancellations without penalty at least 7 days before start of holiday.
- Bookings that are cancelled within 7 days of the start of the holiday shall be charged at 50% of the total price of the booking.
3. Holiday bookings during the peak season (1.6-31.8)
- Cancellations without penalty at least 14 days before start of holiday.
- Bookings that are cancelled at least 7 days before the start of the holiday shall be charged at 50% of the total price of the booking.
- Bookings that are cancelled within 7 days of the start of the holiday shall be charged in full.
4. Holiday bookings during the opera season
- All bookings for the opera season shall be charged in advanced by invoice or credit card.
- In case of cancellation after payment has been made, the deposit shall be refunded only if we are able to sell the room / rooms to another customer.
- Refunds shall be paid after the opera season in August-September.
- Refunds are not made for opera tickets, additional services provided by co-operation partners, etc.
5. Events without accommodation (companies)
Meetings, sports and training days, banquets and evening events, etc.
- Cancellations without penalty 21 days before the event.
- Bookings that are cancelled 7-20 days before the event shall be charged at 50% of the total price of the booking
- Bookings that are cancelled within 7 days of the start of the event shall be charged in full.
- The number of participants in the event must be confirmed at least 14 days before the event unless otherwise agreed, yet no later than 7 days before the event.
6. Private events
Weddings, birthdays, family gatherings, etc.
- Once the event has been confirmed, a deposit of 50% of the total price shall be charged in advance. The remaining 50% shall be paid at the event.
- Cancellations without penalty 21 days before the event.
- Bookings that are cancelled 7-20 days before the event shall be charged at 50% of the total price of the booking
- Bookings that are cancelled within 7 days of the start of the event shall be charged in full.
- The number of participants in the event must be confirmed at least 14 days before the event unless otherwise agreed, yet no later than 7 days before the event.
7. Group bookings
Accommodation, saunas, catering, meetings, events and other services
- Cancellations without penalty 21 days before the event.
- Bookings that are cancelled 7-20 days before the event shall be charged at 50% of the total price of the booking
- Bookings that are cancelled within 7 days of the start of the event shall be charged in full.
- The number of participants in the event must be confirmed at least 14 days before the event unless otherwise agreed, yet no later than 7 days before the event.
- Special cancellation terms apply during the peak season.
8. Cancellation of treatments
Treatments that are cancelled later than one day in advance shall be charged in full.
These cancellation and payment terms apply unless otherwise specified in the offer / booking confirmation. By confirming the booking the customer consents to these cancellation terms. Any possible disputes shall be resolved in the first instance through negotiations between the parties.
These cancellation and payment terms are valid as of 1 December 2010.
